How Picture Frames Are Made

How picture frames are made

It is amazing how much detail and care goes into the crafting of our handmade Italian picture frames. We include one with every one of our framed portraits. We take great pride that they are made from sustainable FSC farmed wood from active reforestation programs in Italy. They use lead-free paints, and no plastic or gesso.

The picture frame craftsmen take inspiration from the endless beauty found in the nature, landscapes, ancient architecture, and people of Italy. It is no wonder that each frame has its own unique characteristics and is, in fact, it's own piece of art. The assortment of picture frames can compliment any painting or portrait placed within them.

A beautiful and unique heirloom picture frame, as unique as you.
